Gemma Sharrock - executive assistant

I am a recent graduate from Newcastle University with an undergraduate degree in Urban Planning BA Honours and a master’s in International Politics (Globalization, Poverty & Development). My education stems from a long interest in placemaking and how innovative planning schemes and policies can improve a sense of place. Having grown up in America and moving to Cheshire, I recognize the importance of planning in creating new and unique spaces around the world.

Outside of WRP, I enjoy going to concerts with my friends, exercising and reading non-fiction books. I also love following sports, and still remain an avid fan of the NBA & NFL.

The environment and culture created by the WRP staff has made it almost a seamless transition from university to working life, and each member of the team fills me with confidence in my decision-making and critical thinking. My aim at WRP is to fulfill our client’s goals, while learning about the planning process and how to bring the countryside to life.
