AWARD-WINNING EQUESTRIAN REHABILITATION CENTRE IN CHESHIRE

The closing of many Cheshire riding schools created demand for a new, large-scale professional equestrian centre. Wharfe Rural Planning worked with the farm’s landowner to gain change of use of their redundant farm buildings and yard into a riding school, livery yard and rehabilitation unit.

The resulting Equestrian Centre now features a riding school, “equine therapy” to support the Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA), new indoor and outdoor arenas and an educational centre for private beginner lessons. It also includes livery and part-livery options, therapy stables and rehabilitation facilities for horses recovering from injury.
