Complex replacement dwelling In the Green Belt

Wharfe Rural Planning were asked to review this site following two failed applications by a timber-framed house building company.

It was a complex site where the idea was to replace a small, single storey house and commercial building on a derelict site, with one new dwelling. The Council had refused previous applications due to the impact on the Green Belt.

We took over the project management of the planning phase and worked with a new architect to create a dwelling that maximised the size of the house, but within Green Belt policy.

A large detached garage and big garden provide a fantastic setting for this modern county house.
