Senior Planning Consultant

With extensive experience in local government planning and business consultancy, I have a well-rounded understanding of the planning system from both a regulatory and client perspective. Throughout my career, I have worked on a wide range of development proposals, helping to navigate planning policy, manage complex planning issues and identify practical solutions that support positive outcomes.

I am passionate about helping people understand the planning process and believe that clear communication is key. Planning can often feel complex and overwhelming, so I take pride in providing straightforward, honest advice that helps individuals make informed decisions with confidence. I enjoy building strong relationships with clients, consultants and local authorities and take a collaborative approach to every project.

Whether supporting small-scale developments or larger, more complex schemes, I enjoy finding pragmatic solutions and helping projects progress successfully through the planning system.

Outside of work, I enjoy keeping active at the gym, following St Helens Rugby League Club and spending as much time outdoors as possible. I particularly enjoy walking in the countryside and being out in nature, whether that’s within the locality or discovering somewhere new. Living in a rural setting has given me a first-hand appreciation of the relationship between development, the natural environment and local communities, reinforcing my passion for helping deliver sustainable and well-considered planning outcomes.
