While barn conversions are extremely popular, planning permission is often far from straightforward. In this particular case, not only was the property in the Green Belt, but part of the existing farmhouse dated back to the 17th century.

The owner wanted to update the main house, convert the rundown barns into three new dwellings and replace a 1970s workshop with a new home. We were able to get permission granted for the full development.
