JOSH DAINTITH

APPRENTICE PLANNER

I’m an Apprentice Planner at Wharfe Rural Planning consultancy and I am currently studying for a degree in Planning alongside my role at Sheffield Hallam University. Combining academic study with practical experience gives me the opportunity to develop my understanding of the planning industry while building valuable real-world skills. I enjoy problem-solving and working as part of a team, and I am excited to learn from colleagues with a high level of expertise. Every project presents a new opportunity to expand my knowledge and gain experience, which I find both rewarding and motivating.

I would describe myself as a curious, dedicated, and trustworthy individual who is always keen to learn and take on new challenges. Through my apprenticeship, I am focused on developing my professional skills, gaining further qualifications, and building a successful long-term career within the planning profession.

Outside of work, I enjoy listening to music, socialising, and spending time with friends and family. I’m also a keen supporter of Warrington Wolves and enjoy following rugby league throughout the season. When I’m not watching rugby, I enjoy taking my dog out for walks and spending time in nature, making the most of the countryside and getting outdoors whenever I can.
